What Billionaire Warren Buffett Says About Finding A Wife.
The answer might surprise you👀
The billionaire investor Warren Buffett once said, "whom you marry is the most important decision that you make", and there's a ton of truth to this. You spend more time throughout your life with your spouse than anyone else by far.
The immediate next question is then "What should I look for in a partner?"
A question which I got asked earlier on a Q&A in The Attraction Lab🧪(The Free Community I host, you can check it out here - The Attraction Lab).
And after looking through a lot of the data on this(A machine learning analysis on 11,196 couples - Samantha Joel et al 2020 ) I actually had a very decisive answer for him.
Besides the basic make sure your attracted to them and you have an aligned life mission/direction/vision, there's really 3 traits you should be looking for.
1. Trait Conscientiousness. This is 1 of the 6 key personality traits, and breaks into the subcategories industriousness(commonly know as work ethic) and orderliness(commonly known as organized or detail oriented). People high in Trait Conscientiousness generally put more effort into everything in there lives, including their relationship, making them better partners on average.
2. Secure Attachment Style. This is essentially when someone is happy to extend trust to others. They aren't jaded, bitter, or distrusting, they believe people have good intentions more than not. This quite obviously makes people with this trait have more successful relationships on average, they're more willing to invest in their partner, and comply with their requests.
3. They're already Happy. Happiness is more genetic, and formed in childhood, than people think, so if you meet a girl who's always sad or upset, that's likely how she'll be in your relationship. Whereas a girl who already likes her life, will probably like her life with you.
Humans tend to partially absorb the traits of those around them, and you spend more time throughout your life with your spouse than anyone else by far, so make sure you pick someone with traits you desire.
Statistically it works out better.
