For Maximum Success in Dating You Need to Know What You Want.
This 3-min Read Will Change Your Dating Life Forever...
“Indecision is the thief of opportunity.”
– Jim Rohn
It’s a lot easier to get people to do what you want when you know what you want.
It’s kind of a duh moment, but it’s still a fact.
For years I struggled to find a relationship because I couldn’t admit to myself that’s what I wanted. I was one foot in the door on wanting a relationship, and one foot in the door on wanting to experience the single life that movies and the internet had convinced me was fun.
In doing so I ineffectively did both.
I would try casual dating, remember I don’t like it, settle for a girl who wasn’t a good fit for a long-term relationship with me because I didn’t want to be single anymore, break-up with her (or get broken up with😔), then run the whole thing back again. Endlessly spinning my wheels not effectively doing either.
When I finally admitted to myself I was looking for a long-term partner I started looking for a partner with the traits I wanted in a long-term partner.
Hot
Competent (intelligent + conscientious)
Similar life values, goals, and beliefs
Is looking for a long-term relationship herself
Instead of the traits I wanted in short-term partners.
Hot
Seems kinda freaky🤪
Example: I used to invite girls over to my place for the first date when meeting them off a dating app (they do work if you have the right photos, trust me) which led to only girls looking for more casual relationships being willing to meet me, effectively filtering out anyone who might make a good partner for me.
Running a Tinder experiment recently I noticed 86% of profiles had…
Still Figuring it Out
Short Term Open to Long
Long Term Open to Short
set as the kind of relationship they were open to. 86% of people are undecided on what they want. I know it’s Tinder, but I also know you’re open to both right now (You can be honest, I won’t tell anyone).
Indecision has become an epidemic causing the masses to spin their wheels for years when they don’t have the years to spare(You’re only young once).
I don’t want that to be you.
I’m not here to tell you what to want, but I will tell you the moment you decide what you want, you actually might get it.
